Sometimes small groups share their stories of experience and lovingly support and encourage one another, but forget look to scripture for any guidance or perspective on their experience.

Sometimes small groups do a bible study and try wisely to discern what the scripture says, but forget to connect it to the very real experiences in the group.

In this study we try to bring out this tension by giving clear room for both experiences and scripture to speak.

These studies accept both scripture and experience as real things and explore how the tension between the two reveals the infallibility of scripture without diminishing the experience.  In community and dialogue truth is often revealed and discovered, which is a far better way to learn, then to merely have information taught to you.
