So today is my 24th Wedding anniversary!
It also happens to be my wife’s birthday. I was either really clever or really foolish depending on your perspective, to line both events up that way.
Anyway, I posted 24 separate romantic (well, mostly) quotes on her wall in honor of the occasion.
My goals were for them each to be relevant to me and her in some fashion and each had to be a movie we had both seen. I didn’t quite make it and a couple are movies we were familiar with but hadn’t seen, or in two cases a tv show and one was just a celebrity quote and not a movie at all.
I’ll give you the celebrity quote, but for the rest, without reading my wife’s wall, can you identify the movies (and TV show) for each of these quotes? No prizes, just vindicating your own pop culture savvy. Post your answers in the comments. Let’s see if between all of you we can get them all. (The ones in bold are the ones solved so far in the comments below.

I’ll start the game at the top by guessing for #24 and #23 the movie is The Princess Bride. I recognize some of the others but I’m not sure from where on most and want to save some for others.

I know 16 of them, but I’ll just name a couple – #18 is Silver Linings Playbook, #10 is “All I Ask of You” from The Phantom of the Opera, and #2 is When Harry Met Sally, which I now feel like rewatching.
It doesn’t surprise me you know most of them. Thanks for leaving a few for others. I’m curious, what numbers were you unsure about?
I miscounted, I knew 17. I didn’t know 22, 12, 11, 9, 8, 6, 5, or 3.

So far all good. Nicely done Barney. Incidentally I should mention I forgot I included two TV shows, not just one. But the other is very obvious if you’ve seen the show.

#20 is Finding Nemo
I am impressed by finding nemo. That’s a tough one.

17 is the Sound of Music
, 10 is Phantom of of the Opera, and 22 is Castle-TV show. 8 and 3 are As Good As It Gets-Jack Nicholson.

Well, 16 is another Princess Bride quote. 15 is obviously something Muppety. Maybe The Muppet Movie. #6 should be bolded because you gave it to us, I think. Our family thinks #13 is Casablanca. So if we are right, that leaves 5, 9 and 11 still to go.
